Role Play Basics

Locations
I am comfortable doing:
- Comment
- Chats
- Notes
 Forum

Good for keep track of word count, but not the best
★ Skype
Convieneint and quick, but not for word count. Better for HCs than RP proper
★★ Google Docs

The best way to keep track of any and all RPing, can be used in tandem with skype for alerts and prompting to reply
- Other

OOC/Headcanoning/RP Planning Methods: (kiyo added section)
(hc = headcanon, which is essentially saying our charas will do a thing/have done a thing without actually RPing it out in depth necessarily)
★ Skype/Discord
A good IM way to get things done quick, and easy enough to get the hang of. An added bonus is nearly everyone has a Skype account or Discord account.
- Google Docs
- Notes
 Twitter
It's a good way to get a start, of course, but would rather switch to messages or skype to firm things up. Character limits aren't the best things of all time.

Participants
I am comfortable with:
 One on one role plays.

The best way to go fo sho- At least for cranking out lots of posts quickly. Can get real long trains of thought here.
 Up to three people.

Generally a good max size for GDocs, any more and it starts getting crowded.
- Up to four people.
 Five or more people!
Only done it on forums before, and that usually made people split into smaller groups anyway.
- As big as possible!

RP Style (kiyo added section)
I am all right with:
★ Lit/Para

What I've started with and what I'm most comfortable doing.
 Script
I've done it, it's alright, not the best at it.

Post Length
I usually write about:
- One or two sentences.
 One or two paragraphs.
A good starting point and usually one that I fall back on in the quicker RPs that are done
 Two to five paragraphs.
Generally what it ends up being. A good length, and usually
- More than five paragraphs.
- A few pages worth.

I am comfortable role-playing with people who write:
 One or two sentences.
 One or two paragraphs.
 Two to five paragraphs.
 More than five paragraphs.
★ A few pages worth.
Honestly go to town if you don't expect the super long posts in response- I'll try and match length but extra fluff isn't my strong suit

New RP Speed (kiyo added section)
I usually reply:
- ASAP (within minutes) after my partner's post
- within an hour
 within the same day:

If notified I usually get on it right away if there's no more pressing matters
 within the same week:

Usually at the latest if there's stuff going on
- within the same month:
- longer than a month:
 at random/variable times:
Hahahahahahaha - Oh boy sometimes it gets worse

I expect my partner to reply:
- ASAP (within minutes) after my post:
- within an hour:
- within the same day:
- within the same week:
 within the same month
 longer than a month
 at random/variable times

As long as it gets done, go for it whenever you've got time. Real life comes first, after all

New RP Reminders (kiyo added section)
I am okay with getting reminders to reply to an RP:
when I've mentioned I got something going on irl
when there is a deadline for the RP submission

This would be a good time to prompt, yes
★ after 5 or 10 or 15 minutes
 after an hour
★ within the same day
 the next day
★ if I haven't replied in a full week
if I haven't replied in more than one week or longer

As long as they aren't constant I'm fine with any and all reminders- If I've said that I'm going to respond, I'll be on it.

I tend to remind people to reply to an RP:
when there is a deadline for the RP submission
 after 5 or 10 or 15 minutes
Not really a reminder to reply other than to post that I have replied as I finish.
- after an hour
- within the same day
- the next day
- if you haven't replied in a full week
if you haven't replied in more than one week or longer
Usually assume that you got your own stuff, but prompting after a week or so seems to be a good place to start

Role-play Requests
I like getting requests from:
Anyone and everyone at any time!
 When I ask for role-plays.
 From friends and acquaintances.
- From friends only.

Corrections:
I am comfortable getting corrections when:
★ I missed something in your/someone else's post
★ I missed something about your/someone else's character
★ It's realistic/factual
 Other

Hit me up if I've done something wrong- That's on me. I'd like to make the experience as enjoyable for everyone as I can
- Never

Expectations: (kiyo added section)
I expect my RP partner to:
★ have read my character app before we RP
- NOT read my character app at all before we RP
read as much of my character app as is reasonable to go on before we RP
read more of my character app as it becomes relevant/necessary

Gotta at least have some basis for character development- It helps out everybody involved if they've got a basic understanding of what both characters are like.

Romantic Relationships
** Important: Communication is the key to a real life relationship, it shouldn't be abandoned for a fictional on either! Be sure to talk to your partners when considering romance!

Shipping
I am comfortable shipping my characters:
- Never.
★ Our character know each other deeply.
★ Our character know each other deeply, and I know I can trust the role-player.
★ At the first sign of flirting!
★ Only if the role-player and I plan it.
 It depends on the character.

Some characters are flirty, some characters are reserved, it really depends on how it goes just general interaction-wise.

If you want to ship with my characters:
Talk to me about it from the start.
Talk to me about it once our characters know each other.
Talk to me about it once they both have some feelings for each other.
Talk to me about it when they finally decide that want to go beyond hugging
Depends on the character, yet again. Some might jump on the start while yet others might wander around for years until they're told that romance is an option.

Speed
When shipping my characters, I like the romance to happen:
- Swift as lightning!
- Fast, but not super fast.
 Happens in about three months.
- Slow and steady wins the race.
- Slugs know what's up!
My relationships know no speed. They happen if they happen.

Based on the character involves and the chemistry that sparks between them in RPs is usually a good way to gauge romance happening

Smut
When my characters get intimate, I prefer:
★ To skip the act entirely.
★ To write the build up, but skip the act.
★ To write the act only if it is very special, but otherwise skip it.
★  To write the act all the way through.
Honestly it depends, both on the character and the person on the other side. I'm always willing to give it a try but quality's gonna take a bit of a hit, methinks.

Romantic Artwork
When it comes to artwork depicting our relationship please:
- Do not post it at all without talking to me.
★ Post it if it is cuddles and hugs.
★ Post it if it is kisses.
★ Post it if it is much more.

Go to town! Art is good, it's fun to see, no matter the content.
- Do not post it at all if it depicts sexual acts!
- Do not post it where I can see it, but draw what you like!

Dramatics
** Important: Always be sure to communicate with your partner individually if you think you are about to go outside their comfort zones even just the slightest bit!!

Violence
When it comes to violent situations, I am comfortable with:
- No violence at all!
 I'm fine with verbal arguments!
Some violence, like a paper cut, or an accidental elbow to the face.
Mild violence, such as punching, kicking, hair pulling.
 Violence, such as stabbings.
Beyond violence, such as torture and more.

Beat any of my characters up as they deserve probably every bit of it, really. Suffering and scars are character development, after all!

If you are going to do something violent, please:
- Don't do it at all.
Talk to me about it first.
It's good to know about violence
  Surprise me!
But VIOLENCE IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER

Dramatic Artwork
- Do not post any dramatic scenes that that happened between our characters.
Talk to me about it before posting!
Always good to get a heads up if its something that needs a heads up, but...
  Post what you like!
...Heck, go for it, drama's great fun for everyone

Other
 (kiyo added section)

Touching
I am okay with my characters being touched if...
- It's not romantic/sexual. - romantic is fine! But nothing below the belt
- It's not violent. - See the prior sections for violence limits.
- It's something that usually happens (e.g.: shaking hands when you meet someone).
- You check with me first.
 It depends on the character
Some of them get pretty picky about this kind of stuff, but others are just free for all- Really, it's free game, if their response is also free game.

New General Artwork
I am fine with art being done of my characters:
 if it's IC
if you don't know me/barely know me
 if you are my friend
★ if you ask me first

Gods above and below if you want to draw my characters go for it mate, it's an honor no matter what
- never
- only if it's a finished/polished piece)

New Triggers
(I don't have any triggers but this would be the place to put them if any of you guys do.)

New Crack
When it comes to crack, I'm okay with:
 crack in general

Never done much of it, although I've heard that it's fun. Go for it.
 crack-shipping

Second verse, same as the first
